Personal Projects

These are examples of collage designs I have created based on different ideas. I enjoy the idea of cutting out magazines to make a collage so I took that to a new level and made more exciting and intruiging collages.

Competitive State of Mind

This collage was inspired by my husband and my favorite hobby which is games. We love to spend our weekends playing games with each other and our friends and I wanted to make something that represnented that. I included pieces of our favorite games as well as a cat of course because our cat is always walking all over our game boards.

Media and Sports

This collage was inspired by the

idea that there's a lot of pressure being watched in sports and specifically tennis. As a 1 v 1 sport you have a lot at stake. I wanted to capture the idea of how one may feel they are in the spotlight and possibly feel defined by all the media has to say about them about there performance.

Clothing Pollution

This collage was made for a school project about clothing pollution and its effect on the enviornment. I used ideas such as plastic filling our rivers and oceans and how cheap clothing can lead to a lot of polution due to the lack of quality in the fabrics.
